Our foundry, founded in 1945 by Mr. Giovanni Giorgetti, a pioneer in the sector in the immediate post-war period, has been managed by the Giorgetti family for three generations, and this allows us to maintain a solid reputation in the industry.

Born as a small local business in the town centre, it moved to its current location and grew into a solid industrial reality.
The internal control of the entire production process, from the development of the equipment, and the production of the cores and molds, from the finish of the raw material to specific heat treatment, as well as the organizational flexibility and the variety of production equipments, enable Fonderie Giorgetti Giovanni to satisfy the most varied requirements of their customers. Production extends from prototypes to small and medium-sized series, from one kilogram to over a ton.

The main activities of our company are aimed at the development of high-quality products, mainly thanks to the established qualification of the staff with us for many years and constantly integrated by a new generation of highly interested and motivated employees. Our cutting-edge machinery and an organisational structure that has been fully computerized for almost 30 years, allow us to be dynamic and extremely effective in facing every new challenge proposed to us by our customers.

  • Automatic moulding to green sand: Belloi and Romagnoli system 850x650x(250+250)
  • Sand-resin moulding: Sogemi plant
  • Internal Animistery: manual and automatic forming machines from 5 to 100 liters, Peterle & Primafond plants
  • Melting furnaces: medium frequency CIME plant
  • Cast finishing: sand blasting, cluster and carpet rampant; the flexible disc grinding wheels and fixed grinders
  • Heat treatment system: Sofind plant

Raw materials

Particular attention has always been paid to the choice of raw materials, as well as to their treatment: a good dish can only be born from excellent ingredients and an express and accurate preparation.

  • Ductile pig iron from Sorelmetal (South Africa - Canada)
  • Lamellar pig iron from DK (Germany)
  • Sand from France
  • Resins and additives from Germany
  • Consumer products of the whole process from Italy
  • Heat treatment system: Sofind plant (Italy)

All metals are inspected at inlet and outlet with AMETEK spectrometers and micrographs.

Materials

Working for years in the field of metallurgy, all the grey and spheroidal cast irons requested by the Customer are produced with quality and certified according to UNI standards. With the help of the continuous relationship with universities and research groups, the most up-to-date design consultancy is offered.

LABORATORY

The concept of quality is an intrinsic value of the Company, which goes from the creation of castings always cared for and attention to the office light in which all the workers operate and where our Customers are always welcome.

The finished product is constantly inspected before shipment through a series of non-destructive testing. Specific tests are performed by a professional laboratory associated with us.

STUDIES, ESTIMATIONS AND SIMULATIONS

Each new project costing and/or implementation, is initially evaluated with next-generation software and shared with customer through a NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).
